Harrisburg Brethren In Christ Church is seeking a part-time Pastor of Worship Ministries (15 hours/week). As a member of the pastoral staff, he/she will work directly with the many people involved in worship ministries within the church and will also support the Senior Pastor, staff, and congregation as we work to fulfill our church’s vision: to be a thriving diverse urban church sharing Christ’s love and serving the needs of our local and global communities.
Our culturally diverse and multi-generational congregation is open to creative worship experiences and enjoys a wide variety of musical styles, including Christian contemporary, black gospel, ethnic music, and classic hymns. The responsibilities for this position include planning our worship services, supervising and training multiple worship teams and the audio/visual team, and working with the worship ministry team to give oversight to all aspects of worship ministries. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and leading worship in a multi-cultural setting.
