As we look to the future at HBIC, it’s important for us all to make sure we are centered and rooted in who we are and the mission God is inviting us to here in Harrisburg. So, we invite you to join us for “Rooted”, a 4-session opportunity to do just that. Rooted is a great opportunity for folks who have been around a while to refresh themselves on HBIC’s history and core values and an equally great opportunity for newer folks to get acquainted with these for the first time, and learn more about how to plug in at HBIC.
Our in-person Rooted classes take place on Sunday mornings at 11am; they run for 4-weeks each January, March, May, July, September and November. To register for our next Rooted class, sign up here.
In addition to the Video Lessons (available below), participants in a Rooted class will work through the 4-session series companion, which includes more info about HBIC and the Brethren in Christ denomination, questions for personal reflection, and more.
Rooted Video Lessons:
Session 1 – BIC History, Staying Connected at HBIC
Session 2 – HBIC’s Core Commitments, HBIC’s Unfolding Story
Session 3 – HBIC’s Journey Toward Diversity
