Seasonal Ministries
At Easter, we distribute Easter baskets for children filled with candy and toys. During this event, we offer prayer – for spiritual needs and also other practical items to fill tangible needs.
We also bring Easter baskets and items to fill them to an area women’s shelter so that mothers can create their own Easter baskets for their children.
Yearly, 150 students receive backpacks filled with school supplies right before school starts. During this event, we offer hair products and other practical items to the families that attend. We also offer the families the opportunity to pray with our church staff or volunteers for any need on their hearts.
We host a Halloween alternative during trick or treat night in the city of Harrisburg. Families can come paint pumpkins, play games, do crafts, and much more!
Yearly, families in our community receive a gift card for turkey and sides for Thanksgiving dinner. Blankets, coats and other items are also offered as we have them available.
This event is a true partnership of several agencies, churches and tons of volunteers! Families attend this event to shop and pick toys and items to fill their children’s stockings. 300+ children are blessed yearly with gifts!
