Brief info
Marcy was born and raised in Puerto Rico and attended Wesleyan Academy from kindergarten through 12th grade. During Spiritual Emphasis Week in fourth grade, she accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Attending Messiah College brought her to the Harrisburg area, where she began serving with Youth for Christ and later started working with Latinx students in the Harrisburg School District, where she has served since 1993.
After visiting several churches following graduation, Marcy found her church home at Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church in 1998. After her daughter Destiny was born, sge knew Harrisburg BIC would be the community that would help raise her and model what it means to walk like Jesus. Marcy's husband, Jeff, began attending soon after they started our relationship, and they have been serving as deacons since officially becoming members three years ago. Over the past 20+ years, Marcy has served in many ways at Harrisburg BIC, primarily in Children’s Ministries.
