Wanda’s life began as a PK–Preacher’s Kid–of a BIC pastor, so she’s been Brethren In Christ all of her life. She began attending HBIC in 1971, the year she and her husband, Glen, were married, and they’ve been members ever since. Over the years Wanda has served in many different capacities in church life—Sunday School teacher, small group leader, member of church board and secretary, church organist, and first church administrative pastor, to name a few. At a regional and denominational level, she has served on the Atlantic Conference Board of Directors, been the first woman elected to be Atlantic Conference Secretary, served on the General Conference Board and chaired the General Conference Board. God has blessed her and she seeks to continue to be his servant as we all work together in the life of His kingdom.
